Our People

The Goldings Auctions team is small but dedicated while offering significant experience in the property industry. We are proud to be a family business, and this underpins our service to buyers and sellers alike.

Tim Golding MNAEA

Auctioneer

Tim has been involved in the local property industry since he left school in the 1970s, which has provided him with a comprehensive knowledge of estate agency, property development and property auctioneering.

Tim enjoys a ‘hands on’ approach to the business and is as much at home making a cup of tea for the team as he is conducting million-pound auctions. He enjoys a full family life with his grandchildren but still finds time for the odd adrenaline rush, sailing, jetskiing or kitesurfing!

Luke Golding ANAVA

Director

Luke spent the first decade of his career working alongside Tim in the family business. Initially at the sharp end of the industry, getting his hands dirty within the estate agency, valuing and negotiating, he has developed into an extremely knowledgeable and well-respected auction specialist. As a young father, much of his spare time is now taken up just being a Dad, although he does enjoy a competitive game of basketball and the occasional round of golf.

Lorraine Golding

Company Secretary

As the third member of the family team, Lorraine is involved in an administrative capacity. You will regularly meet Lorraine at our open viewings and always on Auction Day. She has worked within the property industry since the early 1990s and is always of a cheerful and happy disposition. Lorraine is a passionate “Nan Nans”, who also enjoys spending time in the kitchen… to the benefit of the entire family!

Nikki Golding

Auction Administration

Nikki, Luke’s wife, rarely misses an auction and is regularly seen as a ‘runner’ on Sale Day. A busy Mum to their children Isaac and Summer, Nikki also runs a highly successful online children’s clothing brand ‘Rose and Guy’ and is a recognised online influencer.

Adam Golding

Adam owns and runs a very successful ceramic tiling business, Ipswich Premier Tiling; however, where possible, he will attend the family auctions to help wherever he is needed and brings a spark of energy to the saleroom.

Simone Clarke

Simone, Adams better half, juggles a successful career with being mum to their children Daisy and Ralph, administrator to Adams business and still finds time to help on Sale Day.

Herbert Golding

Auction Administration

Passed away peacefully in January 2024 at the age of 92.

Herbert, a retired sub-postmaster and third generation of the Golding family, is regularly part of the clerking team on Sale Day. Much of his retirement is spent either on the golf course, walking the office dogs, or playing bridge. He is an active man and well known in the community.

Gillian Nash

Gill, a retired headteacher and Herbert’s partner, brings a calming influence on auction day… systematic and structured. She enjoys a busy retirement with family and friends but still has time for voluntary work in their home town of Felixstowe.

Flo George

Completing the Golding family are Flo the Yorkie cross & George the Patterjack.
Both regularly join us at work in the Ipswich office, and you are guaranteed a ‘wagging tail’ reception when you visit us.
